Is CCleaner a good choice for just routine cleanup?

Not Sure, It says Bellsouth Virus Protection at the top. It is through Bellsouth with the DSL Extreme service.

If I were to run CCleaner, would it effect my Bellsouth Virus protection program? Please advise
