The file portable.dat is NOT there.

I must be doing something wrong but I do use the standard installer, as you have well illustrated, but I continue to get the "portable" interface. Can you kindly suggest where else to look. I agree this is taking way too long but I don't know what else to do. Dave

I downloaded the free version from https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/builds and it picked up my license for the pro version. I use to use ccleaner64 but that seems to have vanished. ccleaner screen.docx
