  1. And especially CCleaner Pro, before you allow the program to make ANY changes to your Windows computer, CREATE A RESTORE POINT. Don't be trusting of CCleaner Pro, making my mistake that after three months is still not resolved. Driver updater has made the most common use of my PC is as a BSOD launcher. Sometimes on booting, sometimes in the middle of something, and pretty much any time I leave the computer on overnight. BTW, the seemingly random organization of the official documentation for CCleaner is a really bad joke. I've used the CCleaner free version off and on for years. Last August 2023, I thought it's time to start paying my way while also seeing the advantages of CCleaner Pro. And now I have to beg Piriform to cancel auto renew. Can't do it myself.
  2. With all due respect, Mr. Moderator, that is B.S. Making it hard to cancel a subscription suggests a less than ethical company.
  3. My friend, the fact that turning off auto renew is so hard, tells you something about the company, in my opinion!
  4. Yvi, I wish I had read your message before buying Pro in August 2023. I at the very least would have created a Windows 10 Restore Point, as I foolishly assumed the CCleaner Pro had a go back feature. Driver updater has destroyed my computer, for all practical purposes. Half the time on boot, I get a blue screen ("Please wait while we gather information to ignore.") Otherwise, BSOD's are unpredictable at any time. Especially if I happen to leave the computer on overnight. It's November now, but after several Windows 10 updates (my PC is not W11 compatible), it's still totally unreliable. What's more, I have auto renew turned on, although I don't remember opting for that, and I can't find a place to turn it off, so next August I'll have to contest a charge on my credit card. I've used CCleaner free version off and on for years. Pro is a huge disappointment. Yvi, I wish you the best, but I think you're worse off than I am. I would get a USB external hard drive holder and copy all my data to another computer, then start over with a new Windows install. Be sure you have all your user names, program installation keys, etc.
