Sort of on topic: We seem to have many new words in the language, courtesy of Bill Gates. Adware, malware, spyware, bloatware, trojan horses, keyloggers, rootkits, etc. How about one word for all of these __wares: "Terrorware".
Actually the term malware includes viruses, worms, trojan horses, spyware, adware, and other malicious and unwanted software.
Must say I like the 'Tupperware' idea

As you can read in this topic
This feature is coming soon...Recuva will probably use the same secure deletion algorythms as CCleaner (simple overwrite (1 pass), DoD 5220.22-M (3 passes), NSA (7 passes))

I manually update all my security applications daily. Run SAS, AVG-AS and a-squared (alternately) when I don't use the computer, run Ad-Aware (twice a week) and Spybot (once a week) when they are updated. Once a week a scan with Antivir, regularly a free online scan (Housecall, F-secure, Nanoscan/Activescan, Kaspersky)

and they're back online

The Songbird 0.2.5 Developer preview has been released
"The time has come," the Songbird said,"To chirp of many things:
Of D R M -- and U S B --
Of translamated strings --
And why the Add-Ons pile up --
And whether Plucked has wings?"

Me neither, looks like someone used a colour pallet called 'Vomit'. Thank goodness for the skin changer
Come on, the new skin is quite fresh and fruity

That's true, but I hate piling on the layers. it makes me feel too restricted.
I totally recognize that . Though I must say I would appreciate a real winter. Currently I wouldn't know whether it's still autumn or already spring ...

Also Jeroen has said there should be further file ordering options probably in the next version (possibly moving files to start of disk to compliment the new 'move files to end of disk' function) so its only gonna get better and better

Just in case you deleted files you need, there's always Recuva.

Wow, there's actually a piriform skin (scroll down... see the skin selector?)
Nice work MrG
edit: just noticed forum.piriform.com now forwards to forum.CCleaner.com, so I guess the transfer towards forum.piriform.com will be soon

Welcome to the forums Atnes
A good place to start exploring the possibilities of CCleaner is the Beginner's Guide, which you can find here: http://internetrotsyourbrain.com/ccleanerbeginnersguide/
Take a look at 'CCleaner information', which shows you what will be deleted if you check a certain box, and at 'Issues'. Just make sure you always make keep a backup of the deleted registry items found by the issues scanner.

And my question of whether the ..... would be a good place to hide money? He laughed. ?I haven?t heard of that, but I doubt I would have touched something like that had I seen it.?
