Ok great, I appreciate the swift help. I’ll give this and go and see what happens. Perhaps something happens in the web to Mac to windows transfer. In which case, I’ll get a friend with a windows computer to download it instead.

Onto the Mac and then onto the flash drive and then onto the windows computer?

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum/place but was hoping that I’d added this to the right place… I am trying to recover a file from an old windows computer running XP. Long story short, it can’t connect to the internet, so I have been trying to download windows Recuva onto my Mac and then move it onto a flash drive to instalL on the windows computer. Every time I do that, there is an error during installation, so it doesn’t work. is there a way around this please?
