jepp_justin
hey, this message keeps on popping everytime i start my laptop. RTHDCPL.EXE - Illegal System DLL Relocation The system DLL user32.dll was relocated in memory. The application will not run properly. The relocation occurred because the DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\HHCTRL.OCX occupied an address range reserved for Windows system DLLs. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL. how do i fix this? anyone.. ?? Thanks justin jepp

I had exactly the same problem a few nights ago when my sound went off completely, and I got the same message. Traced the problem to recent windows update, and solved it by deleting the update. I see from the above thread that it can be remedied by a patch or by updating my Realtech sound card. Is there any risk or benefits to be gained from the latter method? Would hate to screw up my soundcard.
