molitar Posted September 10, 2006 Share Posted September 10, 2006 Because it keeps getting wiped clean of files.. than my shockwave and java does not work properly anymore.. and I have to uninstall them.. and reinstall them. Note that Internet Explorer has been known to do this also when using its own built-in tool for deleting the Temporary Internet Files. I don't know if it was a previous bug in IE or not or if it has been fixed, however it used to periodically happen to me using an online virus scanner and it was happening before my usage of CCleaner.
