robertg
I can't find the Duplicate File finder on the Mac version? Is this present? I specifically purchased the Mac version for duplicte file detection.
Moderators nukecad Posted February 19, 2020 Moderators Share Posted February 19, 2020 The duplicate finder tool is not available in CCleaner for MAC, it's only available in the Windows version. *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Keep getting logged out of websites? robertg
Well that's a problem. That should be more clear with a feature comparison chart or similar documentation.
Moderators nukecad Posted February 20, 2020 Moderators Share Posted February 20, 2020 Whilst I've not seen a comparison chart as such, the documentation does say what CCleaner for MAC will do. The Documentation for each version has a section called 'What it can and can't do". Windows version documentation says that it can find duplicate files, the Mac documentation doesn'thttps://www.ccleaner.com/docs/ccleaner/introducing-ccleaner/what-it-can-and-cant-dohttps://www.ccleaner.com/docs/ccleaner-for-mac/introducing-ccleaner-for-mac/what-it-can-and-cant-do There are also plenty of online reviews of CCleaner for MAC, did you not notice that none of them mention the duplicate finder? *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Keep getting logged out of websites? Hyrup
After using CCleaner for windows many years I purchased the CCleaner Professional for MAC. I'm very disappointed in the limited options for this version. For the price I also do not like having to work around the startup for the software. In my onion this product is a scam for the MAC users. Very disappointed.
