In System Try i Hover over the cCleaner Icon then it disappers.
I'm using Win 10 (64bit) Home Edition and Kasperky Total security.

Today i purchased the licensed version x home use.

Again same results.

My Kaspersky 'Total Security' program never blocked the CCleaner.

Is it a BUG or some wrong configuration.

If CCleaner want's to check my computer, they are free to do so.

Any help appreciated. Thanks

Hi,

I have the same or a similar issue. In approximately the same time frame as Raimund.

I was running the free issue v5.44.6675 (54-bit) with Windows 10 64-bit AMD A8-7600 Radeon R7, 10 Compute cores 4c+6G 16.0GB RAM,

AMD Radeon R7 Graphics and everything was fine until I accepted a Microsoft Local English Experience Pack update. (I originally wrongly thought it was from Kaspersky).

From then (whether by coincidence or not) the analyze section works, however selection of the 'clean' seems to cause Ccleaner to close without doing the clean.

Additionally, when informed that an update of the  latest free download v5.45.6611(64bit) was available, the download actions but the install process

seems to start and then close without the installation. Kaspersky and Windows Defender are up to date and previous to this Ccleaner has always worked like a charm for me.

Have others observed this issue and did they find a work around?

Hi Ray

My problem has been solved now by the return answer to my assistance request.

The answer is:

Open CCleaner

Select Options > Advanced

Now confirm [ Advanced Report ]

Click on Label [ Cleaner ] and start.

This should work i think with free and paid version.

Let me know.

Hi,

thank you for the input.

Your solution did allow me to clean my system  ( I still don't know why it ever stopped ).

Nevertheless when I attempted to download v5.45.6611(64bit) I was only able to install it in Administrator mode.

Ccleaner now seems to work fine.

Ray.
