Path file incorrect?

In the scan results it showed me my files however the path for those files are different from the place they were deleted from. Is this a common problem cause by corruption or something? Also if i'm scanning for files deleted from my desktop, does it also scan for things that were in the folders that were on my desktop? So like the subdirectories of the desktop?

 

Also i tried doing a system restore to get back my files, would that have affected my chances of getting back my files? And when searching through the results, if i just type desktop, it seems to only display files that are named desktop, not files from the directory. Also i get lots of results were the path has ? as a part of it, does that mean it could be from anywhere? Some results also have the same file name for some reason and the files i tried to recover said they couldn't find the file anymore
