alch3mist
Ive been using ccleaner for a very long time. I've recently installed on a friends laptop, to try optimise her laptop. I personally have not backup up registry after a clean and have had no problem on my own laptop. So being the amateur that i am, i did the same routine on her laptop expecting all to be fine. However, Im not sure if she did something else or if it was Ccleaner that brought up the problem. Ive tried to restore, install programs and check anything that i know off. However, it seems like she can download files (and open), but once the file is moved, it cant be opened. So for example, a word document is downloaded to the download folder, it is moved to another folder, opening that word document displays a message " word cannot open the document, user does not have access privileges". Also another example is downloading pdf in chrome. it says, cannot save due to insufficient permissions. Please save to another location. If anyone can point me in the right direction with this problem, i would be thankful. Thank you.
iSR5
This is not CCleaner issue. This is a windows permissions problem.
