Moderators mta Posted December 31, 2012 Moderators Share Posted December 31, 2012 not much to go on, but have you tried deleting your System Restore points (Control Panel, System, System Protection, Configure, Delete - that's for Win7) warning; this will leave you with no Restore Points - no biggie as it sounds like they may be corrupted anyway. after you blow them away, make another one by Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Restore, this will give you a fallback if you ever need it. Backup now & backup often.It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last.
