Isxek
I'm not sure if this is a bug with version 1.26.218. Whenever CCleaner finds this after scanning the registry: Problem: Application Paths Issue Data: BG2Main.Exe - C:\Program Files\Black Isle\BGII-SoA\BG2Main.Exe Registry Key: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\BG2Main.Exe We're no longer able to run Baldur's Gate 2 through the desktop shortcut. When we click on the shortcut, it only gives the Install option, not Play. I don't have any of the older CCleaner versions on my hard drive to see if this is just with the current version that I have. I'm sure it's not with the game because everything went smoothly with its install. Any insights on this? Thanks in advance. Isxek
Moderators rridgely Posted December 17, 2005 Moderators Share Posted December 17, 2005 CCleaner wouldnt touch that game. You can look in its .ini files to see what it cleans. The only way that ccleaner would have deleted anything is if that game stored files in temp.

I'm guessing it's something with the CCleaner program, but I'm not sure. Thanks!

As per Bioware's site which I quote here: > Fixes the problem where WinDoctor or other registry checking/cleaning programs would erase the BG2: Throne of Bhaal registry entry Thanks to rridgely for the assistance.
