Defraggler safe to run in background?

I have just installed Defraggler on my wife's laptop. She's definitely not tech-savvy, so I am going to schedule Defraggler to run monthly but I was wondering if Defraggler is safe to run in the background while she's doing other task.

Few more question while I'm at it:

  • Does the scheduler run Defrag or Quick Defrag?
  • If it runs Defrag, is it safe to check option to move big file to end of the drive?
  • When the scheduled task launches, does a UI come up or can it run silently in the background? Or, at least, just display a icon in the notification area? I want it to be non-intrusive so my wife doesn't get startled by Defraggler launching while she's doing other work.
  • If I create a monthly task and the computer is not turned on at that moment, does the task run when the computer is turned on for the first time after that scheduled time has passed?

Thanks!! :)

I can answer "[*]Does the scheduler run Defrag or Quick Defrag?" -- It definitely runs full Defrag, and is painfully long. So much so that I don't think I can use Defraggler in its current state, it may be more thorough and all than Win7's own app but the time it takes just isn't worth it to me. :o
