Does Recuva tell me which files could not be recovered?

Hi,

 

I have just started recovering 1000+ files from a portable USB drive that is malfunctioning. It's going to take about 48 hours according to estimates.

 

However, already I can see in the directory to which the recovered files are moved, that there are 23 files with correct file sizes but in the Recuva "recovering process dialog window" it says only 17 files have been recovered.

 

1) Should it not say 23 files?

 

2) Does this mean that 6 files so far have not been able to be recovered?

 

3) Will there be a log file created at the end of the recovery so that I can see if there were any errors during the process or if all files were not recovered correctly.
