Problem with custom folder delete

Recommended Posts

After downloading the CCleaner 2.32.1165 as update to my old CCleaner, I Find that this version did not clean custom folder that I put in the include setting. I also have set the clean custom folder options flag. Is there anything more that I need to do/miss?

The custom folder I mention above is under windows directory. Is this location is the problem?

One more thing the old version clean this folder without a problem.

Thank you for your time

I can confirm the same issue with the custom files and folder being skipped.

Using 2.27.1070, the 'Custom Files and Folders' ARE cleaned.

Using 2.32.1165 they are NOT cleaned.

Folders involved:

C:\Documents and Settings\MyAccount\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\*.*

C:\Documents and Settings\MyAccount\Local Settings\Temp\*.*

C:\Documents and Settings\MyAccount\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\*.*

C:\Documents and Settings\LocalService\Local Settings\Temp\*.*

C:\Documents and Settings\LocalService\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\*.*

C:\Documents and Settings\testuser\Local Settings\Temp\*.*

C:\Documents and Settings\testuser\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\*.*

C:\Temp\*.*

C:\Windows\Temp\*.*

MyAccount is my windows account which is actively logged into when running CCleaner.

LocalService is a default Windows account.

testuser is a test windows account.

The LocalService temp folders contained over 2gb of data which CCleaner version 2.32.1165 didn't pick up. There is no way to log into this account to run CCleaner. The LocalService account is a predefined local account used by the service control manager within the Windows XP operating system.
