wttu1
I cleaned and then couldn't get my email or internet to come online. Tried re-starting computer several times. Finally had to "re-set" windows to earlier in the day before I ccleaned. Anyone experience this?
gatow
Hi, I had a similar problem today, having just run cleaner. I could still access mail and web from a networked laptop but could not see any shares on main computer. Try opening "Network" (this is in VistaBTW) and you might see that file sharing has been turned off - there is a message which will appear towards the top of the network window that opens. You will be given the option of turning on file sharing by clicking the message. I did this and all my shared drives etc became visible again. Hope this helps. ePost
Thanks for posting that solution, gatow. Also: The program Winsock Repair from Rizone Technologies are sometimes used to repair issues similar to this. Actually it's a bit unlikely that this could have been caused by CCleaner.
