real_large
Hi all: I registered in order to ask this question after reading quite a bit and not finding my answer. Hoping someone can help: I have a flash drive on which I use Portable Firefox. I "clear private data" frequently on Firefox, but would like to have some secure file deletion. (I use NSA on my home computer). Just like the peace of mind. Can C-Cleaner clean a flash drive? If so, how would I go about it? Thank you. And apologies if this has been addressed. Moderators Augeas Posted June 4, 2009 Moderators Share Posted June 4, 2009 No. CCleaner only operates on the system c drive. You can delete stuff from the flash drive, then scan with Recuva and secure overwrite what you find if you wish, but it is a little fiddly.
