Return the two column cookies chooser

The enter a url format of 7.x is untennible. You either have to live with all (30 Google cookies covering all parts of Google) or none (wipe out sign in to Google along with the trash). The only way around this is to have a parallel ccleaner 6.40 to get the full url of the cookie.

Using 7 only, it is impossible to know because the details after scan allows only seems to show a limited selection of the scan (have 26 cookies to clean details shows about 13 entries (1) )

There is no scrollbar to go lower you can’t scroll with a wheel or key it shows 13 and most aren’t cookies but logs.

(1) this lack of details (unscrollable partial list) in the details screens is all throughout ccleaner which, if @Laurence_CCleaner wants I’ll open a new thread for this)
Edit: I have ruled out windows magnification for the details bug

Thanks for the feedback @Nergal, I have passed this on to the development team to review and make improvements in future to CCleaner.

Addendum: The Details bug can be gone around with the export to csv, however, a) that’s generally ungainly, and b) for my suggestion this is MUCH more ungainly and arduous compared to the two columns chooser.

So, in the meanwhile, is there a way to return my software to an earlier version that has the two-column chooser? I am repeatedly going to sites that point out that it appears that I am logging into the site from a NEW location. This is a PAIN!

or do as i do and run 6.40 portable and copy the names (Typing them out, if copy paste is not available)

I am getting too old for this. I downloaded 6:40 and installed and the first time it ran properly. After that, it ran version 7. Do I need to ā€œuninstall v 7 first and then install 6.40? Thanks for helping. I have remained ā€œfaithfulā€ to CCleaner, but may return to Norton Utilities if I can’t solve this issue.

Follow to the letter the linked instructions from How to Roll Back from v7 to v6.39 (or now V6.40)

MAKE SURE YOU ARE DELTEING UPDATE FILES BEFORE 2nd LAUNCHING

Follow ALL of the step by step instructions in the ā€˜How to’ that Nergal has linked.
