No clean registry function in my installation

I am using version 7.0.632.0.
I can not find the function for cleaning the registry. I would like to clean up my registry.
What should I do?

Version 7 is a Beta testing version, it is not fully released.

However it may well be that when officially released v7 will no longer include a registry cleaner.

That’s because CCleaner no longer recommend running the Registry Cleaner tool on a regular basis.
Registry cleaning is no longer needed for Windows since Windows 7.

The current Registry Cleaner in CCleaner is not a cleaning tool, it is a tool for attempting to fix a computer that already has problems.
It will not speed up your machine in any way, and will only save a few kB of disc space.

In the worst cases running any Registry Cleaner regularly can break your computer.
You only have to read these forums to see people who have broken their computers by using registry cleaning indiscriminately, unthinkingly, or just not knowing that they shouldn’t be using it as a regular cleaning tool.

Basically the answer to “What should I do?” is that you should stop using any registry cleaner.

For the moment reinstalling the official release, currently v6.##, will still give you access to the reg cleaner. (But you use reg cleaning at your own risk).
You can download a Standard installer here and double-click it to go back to the latest official release of CCleaner v6. (There is no need to uninstall the v7 Beta first).

Very informative reply, especially the links to other site. Thank you.
I’ll continue using BETA as is and take the release when it is available.
