Latest version of CCleaner hangs on install

I have the same problem - as it appears do many others. I went back to 6.39 - you can get the info on how here:

Hello, I have installed CCleaner v. 7 and am very disappointed. I’ve used CCleaner for years, almost exclusively for cookie management. The cookie management features in v. 7 seem to be truncated and dumbed down. Would you please send me instructions for downloading and restoring CCleaner 6.39. Do I have to uninstall v. 7 first?

REMEMBER to change the auto-update settings to OFF or it will auto-update in to the same problem. Hopefully they will tell us when this is fixed. NOT a good look for a new product!
