Bought a two yr subscription to CCleaner Pro. (in Juli! 2025) Got message together with confirmation, that license key could take a few days because of problems with software producer.
It is now November, in my management page it shows the subscription and after selecting details I see my purchase and also still the remark about the license key. Selecting ‘retrieve license key’ on the website and filling in my email, I receive an email with an old license key of a deactivated old subscription. I tried all help items, I even got switched by the chatbot to an US help site that did not provide any useful help at all, but still no license key for my purchased CCleaner Pro. I have a feeling that I wasted good money and there is no way, other than described above, to contact CCleaner / Cleverbridge / Piriform about this issue. I do have order confirmation, invoice and Celverbridge reference number of the purchase.

Apologies, you were having an issue with your CCleaner licence.
I can see from our records that there was an issue with generating your new licence.
I have now resolved this and your existing key now had the correct expiry date.

It works. Thank you for the fix. Pitty that your support guided me to JustAnswer. My experience is very negative, they just do what you see on your FAQ’s and repeat that time after time. It also costs you 45 euro’s/month because you have to subscribe in a ‘fishy’ way. (not clear that it costs you much more than the mentioned one dollar, until you approve, it suddenly shows 45 € → gone)
In my opinion, their experts are amateurs, almost ‘scam’-like. In the end they provided me with a CCleaner email adres to write to that was “no longer monitored’ dated somewhere in 24…It would improve your service a lot if you allow direct contact with you (CCleaner) instead of having your customers contact a shady bunch of amateurs at JustAnswers…

Please give me details on how you contacted this so I can review this to make sure you contacted the correct team.
I went to CC site; next to: support.ccleaner com /s/topic/ 0TOQu00000019VtOAI/ccleaner-7?language=en_US (sorry had to break link to send it)
Filled in “How can we help” and subsequent reactions eventually led me to the form : on support.ccleaner com/contact-form?language = NL
Filled it in, submitted it had to wait quite a while, got several messages about problems like: “Failed to initialize chat: UJET SDK not loaded”
but finally got connected to chat. From there on I was (after very awkward communication with bot) eventually asked to contact the JustAnswer amateurs.
Hope this will get you somewhere.
Thank you for giving me these details, the support request you submitted on 30 Nov 2025 does not show any connection to our live chat service. Based on your report, it looks like this had an issue with initialising the chat.
We believe this was a one-off, so you need to contact support again. You should not experience this issue again.

Fill out the form and press submit. This should open a second page with the option for ai.chat, make it clear to the bot you want a live person. It may be some time to wait on the webpage for humans to answer, especially now where we just had a US holiday and the release of 7 was (and continues to be) a mess, including the now Automated assistant and the too few people working there.

@NegalNegal, as you might have read in my initial (shortened) description of ‘my journey’, that is all done, up to the point that I initially got some error messages when the bot should have answered, and suddenly the bot was there, and yes I asked for life person and ended up with JustAnswer. I am still trying to work out what happened there; we are now looking into my server logs and AV logs. Something weird happened. (Laurence indicates tht there was no connection with bot established!!)
As for the license key, also in the thread, @Laurence_CCleaner solved that in one stroke. In our conversation we did shortly address the support form issue as well.
The JustAnswer people are not really a great help, actually it is an awful waste of money. They keep repeating all the standard (already on the CCleaner website) solutions even when you explain to them quite elaborate that you did that, been there and even got the Tshirt. They, as so many support ‘experts’, just don’t listen.
Thanks for trying to help Negal, appreciate it, and as I said earlier, @Laurence_CCleaner solved the issue in a very supportive and professional manner. For me issue can be closed, I hope that JuicyJaws’ problem will be solved in an identical way.
