Can't activate, can't scan

I bought a subscription in October and not only can I not access the premium contents, but I can’t even do a basic scan. This website is of absolutely no help. If I can’t get some assistance, I would greatly appreciate a full refund.

Can you explain what you see, what you try to do and what happens?

I previously logged in with the key and had been using the program until this bug popped up recently.

I have no way of doing anything. I can’t scan, I can’t get any of the buttons to work, let alone log into the program.

Should I uninstall the program, then reinstall it using the same key from my purchase?

Please also get rid of the annoying popups, which block the box for replies.

Sometimes simply restarting windows starts the service, but you may have a security app deeming it a non-essential service and stopping it from running .

The advice that Nergal has given should get you running again.

Although I don’t think a reinstall is needed here it isn’t difficult to do, if you should decide to reinstall then you can get a new installer here:

Don’t uninstall the current one first, and if you have already entered your key then the reinstall should pick that key up.
If you have uninstalled, or if it doesn’t pick the key up for some reason, then simply enter it again.

PS. We are users here, not employees, (except for Laurence_CCleaner who looks in now and again), so I’m afraid that we can’t do anything about the pop-ups.
