Buongiorno …da quando ho installato la nuova versione 7 il sistema mi dice che c’e’ un virus Icarus.exe nella cartella di CCleaner. Volevo sapere a che cosa si riferisce e se posso mantenere il file. Grazie
It is almost certainly a False Positive, what Antivirus are you using?
“Icarus.exe” can refer to both a legitimate Avast/AVG process and a separate, malicious “Icarus Stealer” malware.
In this case what your AV is seeing is probably a variant of the Avast/AVG process, which is used for updates.
Remember that Avast, AVG, and CCleaner are all part of the same group of companies.
If you want reassurance then download Malwarbytes free edition and do a scan with that for a second opinion.
