I didn't enable it. It asked if I'd want it enabled some time ago when I mistyped some URL.
Thing is there are malicious websites that use a mistyped URL to snag unsuspecting users.

I can handle those.
FWIW Shumway is pretty cool but doesn't handle complex applications like YouTube just yet. Handles .swf files pretty well from my limited testing.

Thanks Pusher, somehow missed that when searching the Mozilla site and works almost identically to FVD (and has no sign of anything dodgy in it, unlike FVD, just a couple of presumably sponsored links in the menu)
I have been using it for a long time and I haven't noticed any ill effects.
