Ccleaner not cleaning any chromium browser anymore even in the latest version

Ccleaner has stopped cleaning chromium history/cookies/cache etc.

I even have the latest version v6.37.11523 and it was happening for a while now in multiple versions, even though this was supposed to be fixed in v6.37.

From a previous post by a mod, a month ago, this was supposed to be fixed in v6.37 but it is STILL happening, multiple versions later.

In fact it is worse now than it was before.

This happens in any chromium browser. Chrome, Brave etc.

Is this bug still being worked on, or do they not know this is still happening?

Note: Not looking for workarounds, I know you can clear history in the browser, but not the same whatsoever. Just want to report this bug to get fixed

6.36.11508 64 bit cCleaner (free version) not cleaning Chrome history

Hi Since installing the above version cCleaner isn’t clearing my Chrome history. ‘History’ is tickled in options an Chrome isn’t running in the background or syncing. I have to manually clear the history from within Chrome each time. Is this a new issue? Thanks Philip

Nothing in that previous posts says that there would be a fix in CCleaner v1.37.

I wouldn’t say anything like that when I no clue myself as to when there may be a fix.

PS. Remember that this is happening because Chrome has changed, and not CCleaner.
