CCleaner 7

I had CCleaner Professional and somehow I have been updated to CCleaner 7. Previously, I was able to update, etc. apps on my PC without extra cost. Now, CCleaner wants me upgrade once again and “pay more” so that I can update my PC apps. Could someone tell me what has happened? Thank you.

Hi @dewmaw1,
Your professional licence is still valid for CCleaner 7 and you should still have access to features like Software Updater.
Please check if your licence key is showing in your CCleaner installation by going to Settings > My Subscription on the left of CCleaner and activating your licence if needed.

To register CCleaner 7 as Professional:-

CCleaner 7 no longer shows you at the top if it is Free or Professional. To check which one you are running then look at the bottom left corner, if you have Free then you’ll see a coloured ‘Upgrade to Pro’ icon. To double check go to Settings (the cogwheel) > ‘My Subscription’ and it tells you there if you currently have Free or Professional.
