Portable versions are built out separately to the main releases and may be released some time later, or may skip versions where new functionality needs time to be adapted to the portable configuration. As per the notes above, there will not be a portable version of CCleaner 6.0 this month, but it is likely to resume either with the upcoming CCleaner 6.01 or 6.02.

To confirm, there will not be a portable version of CCleaner 6.01 either, but we are continuing to review how to portable-ize CCleaner 6.02+.
The sticking point is the structural change required for Performance Optimizer although Performance Optimizer would not work properly when the software is being used in a genuinely portable manner. Although the Portable version is expressly intended "for system admins and advanced users ... not for distribution or mirroring", we know that some third party download sites advertise it as suitable for all users, so we have to make things a little more robust for the general public who may be using Portable contrary to advice. As such, for the time being we have rolled back the portable version on the website to 5.91 until we can come up with a satisfactory solution.
I'm also looking forward to continued portable releases. At least for me, I'm fine if it doesn't have the Performance Optimizer or Driver Updater or Software Updater, as I'm not planning on using these (much too much "feature creep" for my preference).
In the meantime, I noticed that the portable version v5.92 was replaced with v5.91 on the official ccleaner.com download page. What's the story? Was this intentional? Is there a serious problem with v5.92 (besides the following, which has an easy workaround: https://community.ccleaner.com/topic/62829-592-portable-broken/ )?

Hi Peaform:
Dave CCleaner's 20-Jun-2022 announcement <above> states that "As such, for the time being we have rolled back the portable version on the website to 5.91 until we can come up with a satisfactory solution ".
There were bigger problems with CCleaner Portable v5.92 than the problem with non-English languages that mogli reported in 5.92 portable broken. See my 04-Jun-2022 post in bgavin's Bug Report: Portable 6.0.0.9727 for Windows about all the unexpected registry entries and Task Scheduler tasks that were created on my system by this buggy v5.92 release. According to Andavari's 06-Jun-2022 post <here> in bgavin's thread the registry entries were created because the portable.dat file was not located in the same folder as CCleaner.exe and CCleaner64.exe executables in CCleaner Portable v5.92. I now have to manually remove all these unnecessary registry keys and tasks from my system and will be going back to using CCleaner Portable v5.91 for now.
I agree with your comment about Performance Optimizer, Software Updater, etc. I only use the Custom Clean feature and I suspect that most CCleaner Portable users would actually prefer to have many of the "extra" features like Performance Optimizer, etc, removed from the portable build.

Hi OLLI_S:
CCleaner v6.02 was released today (20-Jul-2022) but the official builds page at https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/builds is still recommending the ccsetup591.zip for CCleaner Portable v5.91.9537 (rel. 16-Mar-2022). ☹️

When I see it properly, then there are also no portable versions of Speccy and Recuva available (at least not the current versions).

Hi OLLI_S:
Please see my 20-Jun-2022 response in CCleaner 6.00/6.01 Portable Not Available to employee Dave CCleaner's comments on this subject. We were told in October 2019 that the portable builds of Speccy, Defraggler and Recuva would be "reestablished shortly" on their respective builds pages (e.g., at https://www.ccleaner.com/speccy/builds for Speccy) but those download links are still missing, in spite of Piriform's insistence that these portable builds "have not died".
The situation with CCleaner Portable is a bit different because Piriform is still posting a ccsetup591.zip file on the CCleaner builds page at https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/builds. The only major issue with CCleaner Portable is that the recommended ccsetup591.zip was released back in March 2022 and will continue to be a few versions behind the "standard" CCleaner installer until Piriform fixes the buggy file structure in CCleaner Portable. That will hopefully occur when the upcoming CCleaner v6.03 is released next month.
Just a warning that I launched CCleaner Free Portable v5.91 today (the Portable version currently recommended at https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/builds) and saw a pop-up in my system tray asking me to download the buggy v6.02 files, in spite of the fact that I have all automatic updating and available update checks disabled at Options | Updates. I chose "Remind Me Later" to stay on v5.91.

Any update for CCleaner 6.02 portable ?
</p>
</div>
Hi Moustik:
Please see employee johnccleaner's 22-Jul-2022 post <above>. CCleaner Portable v5.91 is still the recommended version at https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/builds and Avast/Piriform is hoping (but no promising) to release an updated Portable version when CCleaner v6.03 is eventually released.
Just an FYI that CCleaner Portable v6.03.10002 (ccsetup603.zip) has been posted on the official builds page at https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/builds and when I unzipped I could see that the executable files are now back in their correct location in the "root" directory with portable.dat. I haven't had time to test thoroughly to see if this version creates any unwanted registry entries or scheduled tasks but so far everything looks okay.
I have a 64-bit Win 10 OS and use the default English interface and the image below shows the only unzipped files I normally keep . Note that I only use the Custom Clean feature and don't use other features like Health Check, Software Updater, etc. . The only difference I noticed about Custom Clean in v6.03.10002 is that cleaning of my Apple Install files and Firefox Bookmark Backups were enabled by default on my first scan, and I don't want those files cleaned automatically.
