After I've cleand my PC with CCleaner I can't start any Microsoft Office 356 Applications.
Can anyone help me?
did you ran the registry cleaner portion of CC?
have you gone into Control Panel, Programs and Features, select Office 365, click Change and tried a Quick Repair and failing that, Online Repair?
I ran the registry cleaner and the repairs
And....?
Did the Quick Repair or Online Repair help?
When you ran the reg cleaner portion of CC, did you do the offered backup of the registry before you cleaned it?
And if so, have you tried re-merging that backup file back into the Registry?
the repairs didn't helped and I haven't done the backup
best option then would be to re-download Office 365 and install it again.
but I'm surprised neither of the two repair options worked.
and with the reg cleaning in future, personally, I feel it's hardly ever warranted.
but if you are going to do one, take the offered backup.
I've reinstalled it many times but I can't start it
try running the Office removal tool first.
available here; https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Uninstall-Office-2016-Office-2013-or-Office-365-from-a-PC-9dd49b83-264a-477a-8fcc-2fdf5dbf61d8
This didn't helped either
try to reinstall your operating system
try to reinstall your operating system
No!
one last throw of the dice....
create a new User account, log in on that and try installing Office 365 from scratch. (having it removed by the removal tool first)
Nipe it doesn't work
so just to double-check and get up to speed here...
these are the things you have tried, and haven't helped; Quick Repair, Online Repair, MS office removal tool, download latest 365 version & installed, created a new user?
remaining options are limited.
but they are 1) using Restore Points to go back to prior 20 July, 2) do the MS Removal Tool and reinstall from Safe Mode
are you getting any error messages in the removal or reinstalling processes?
do you have any backup images of the system prior to your cleaning?
There aren't error messages and i have no restore points
OK, you need to give us an update on what you have, or haven't, tried so far.
The more info you can give, the better any help will be.
For example, did you download and run the Office Removal Tool for your 365 product?, did you try installing with the PC in Safe Mode?, did you try installing from a newly created user account?
To have no Restore Points, have you manually turned them off in the past?
Not that they may have helped, but they do have success occasionally, but another thing against them now is the amount of elapsed time.
And you have no backup images of the system (also known as system images, not to be confused with restore points)? Programs like Norton's Ghost or Macrium Reflect can do these for you.
We are fast running out of the easy options if you have tried all the suggestions so far.
You really want to avoid having to 'nuke it from space' and reloading Windows anew, as suggested by @pinero9053
1. I tried the repairs from office
2. i tried to reinstall it
3. I removed it with the removal tool and reinstalled it
4. I created a new user and tried to install it
5. I tried to install it in safe mode
The restore points were turned off automatically
Are you using Windows 10?
What happens if you right-click on the start and select 'run' and the type in
winword /safe
and then press enter or ok?
It may be an idea to download the free version Windows Repair from Tweaking.com
http://www.tweaking.com/content/page/windows_repair_all_in_one.html
Accept to start the repairs in safe mode option (it will boot into safe mode for you)
Untick all the options under the Repair tab and then just tick the ones at the top which say 'repair file permissions' and 'repair registry permissions''
Then click on start repairs.
It may take a little while to finish, when it does it will say it needs to reboot. It will then boot back into normal mode.
Can you start 365 now?
Nope I still can't open it
so the product installs OK, it just won't start.
If correct, what actually happens when it 'starts', is there an error message, can you move the mouse, does the spinning "I'm thinking" icon just spin?
does Task Manager shed any light on running processes?
give details, we need the info.
