Finally got it uninstalled and reinstalled but it is once again zipping through the analyze phase and then freezing at three percent on the cleaning phase.

Trying to uninstall and reinstall in case something went wrong with the installation, but that isn't progressing much further itself.

I just upgraded to professional yesterday, and I have not been able to use CCleaner since.  Whether I try to use Easy Clean or Custom Clean the procedure stops at two or three percent and advances no further. I cannot click on any of the options on the side-bar, but I can click "check for updates" or the logos across the top. I tried leaving it alone overnight last night, but it never progressed past the three percent it had seized up at before I went to bed.
