I turned my firewall off from accepting 3rd party cookies, and it fixed the problem as well.

 

Just be sure to turn your firewall back on after scanning.

@maikl4691, noting is "simple" when it comes to computers, software.., but Andavari's solution worked.

Loaded CC onto my laptop a few days ago, and everything works fine except where Windows Edge is involved.

I follow all the prompts, CC starts cleaning and freezes at 6%, and sits there and spins, and never stops.

I have Windows 10/Edge, all updates are installed, no bugs or viruses. Laptop is brand new, set up by IT.

Any ideas/suggestions?
