[Stuck on one file for 20 hours]

Simply stuck on one file for 20 hours

[Seems to be hung up on one file]

I am trying to run a deep scan  -   I chose just 'pics' on external hard drive    ...   its been running for about two hours and it seems to be hung up one one file

says

 

                    Stage 1 of 3

                    Scanning Drive for deleted files

                    Current Progress 0% , 117136 files found

then an empty bar

then

                    calculating time left .....  ( and no time listed )

Problem is in over two hours the number of files has not changed ??  I will let it run overnight and see what happens . I tried a competitors it took about two days to run the drive but only found 256 pics - of which I know there are at least a 1000 - hopefully this program will do a better job - if it can will be glad to buy
