Ccleaner and Avast in CCleaner Bug Reporting Posted February 13, 2018 Release 5.40 still installs the unwanted and unrequested AVAST program. I am therefore uninstalling ccleaner and avoiding all future contact with Piriform. Not only was AVAST unsolicited, the program interfered with my existing antivirus program.
