[CC-Cleaner PUP ? Dangerous confusion !]

Ccleaner.online is not a reputable place for getting ccleaner. It is not related to piriform, and very well might be malware. Ccleaner should only be gotten from here at piriform.com/ccleaner or an authorized distributor (file hippo is the only one I know of for that). After a bit of investigation, looks like they've re-branded their ADVANCED PC CARE product !!

 

They now call it CC-Cleaner available through www.ccleaner.online.

 

This looks like lawsuit material.

Thought I was buying the Piriform version !!!. Installed it on all my PC's !!!

 

Doing a whois domain search for support-geeks.com points to a registration somewhere in India.
