Thanks, I downloaded the latest version and installed it - same thing still occurred. Then downloaded the portable version and run it from the downloads folder and still the same thing

I came to report the same issue. Will follow and see what comes out of this.

Hi mta, I have I have carried out the steps in the link you posted for each drive in my PC. However this has not changed the fact if I put some thing in the Recycle Bin and run CC it remains in the bin.

Thanks but I have already tested my Recycle Bin and I can use it normaly via windows, I just thought this was worth reporting as a bug incase it is happening to others.

Hello CCleaner v5.30 on Windows vista 64bit sp2, I just updated CCleaner today, now no longer emptying Recycle Bin.
