Hello,
today I read on a German PC magazine that Kaspersky implemented an software updater in Kaspersky Total Security 2017:
http://www.chip.de/news/Kaspersky-2017-Hotspot-Shield-und-Software-Updater-eingebaut_99513341.html
The Kaspersky Software Updater (Beta Version) could be downloaded also here:
https://www.kaspersky.com/free-software-updater
I really don't know if there are many differences between the Beta and the version they implemented in Total Security 2017.
But that Kaspersky implements an Software Updater to Total Security 2017 shows how important an software updater is.
This is the next argument why CCleaner Cloud (and maybe also CCleaner) should have an Update Manager.
Greetings
OLLI
Great ideas Olli, now lets see how much of this actually gets implemented. Waiting for updates.

Works fine with me. May be there is a problem with your version.

Something is changed: Google chrome is skipped
Every time I open and clean with CC it says chrome must be shutdown first.
OK after uinstalling all apps and extensions, and turning off keep google in ram ticks, it still says close chrome?
I Downloaded and tried another cleaner, same issue chrome is running, BUT it is not in process list task manager-All process checked.
I uninstalled chrome= Same issue chrome needs to be closed.
BTW in cleaner browser helpers- chrome apps are untouchable- protected by browser.
can anybody tell me what is going on, with Chrome ? Beginning to think Google is a virus. sarcasm
Facing the same problem. Deleted the CCleaner. Let me know if it worked for you. May be I will give CC another chance.

The problem with the wmi provider host is due to the unusual behavior of this service not able to following the pattern it is supposed to. This issue can be fixed by simpy doing a malware scan. [Removed by moderation]
