Any reason not to just switch off that option and delete all temp files?
No not at all. I've just thought unchecking that option meant all temp files were not deleted. My bad.
Thank you. -

And what is the least value?
I'd like to clean files older than 1 min.Regarding the following lines, what other lines have to be taken into account and added in order to be compatible with Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10 and 11 ?
QuoteInclude1=PATH|%systemdrive%\ProgramData\TEMP\|*.*|RECURSE|0|0|24

Hi,
On Chrome x64 I renamed folder Profile 1 to Abigail and kept the same default path and edited all related files and regkeys accordingly:
C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Abigail
Is the following line correct to make CCleaner work?
CustomLocation1=CHROME|C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Abigail
TIA

Hi,
Sorry for revive an old topic.
I have some temp files, Word files. Some of which start with names like ~$volution_species.docx. They're set as hidden and system files by Word 2016.
1. How to clean/delete them without unhiding them in File Explorer.
2. What's the correct syntax to set in CCleaner, for example, is this correct?
~$*.docx

Please discard this thread as I found the issue on Chrome and IDM extension side. Sorry for the inconvenience.
