Hi, When Recuva recovers a file, if I "recover" it back to the drive it is found on, does it simply re write the MFT/Directory entry or does it re-write it back to the drive?
i.e. am I destroying/over writing other files yet to be recovered on the same drive with Recuva? OR, do I have no worries
if it is re-writing the file again, wouldn't changing the MFT entry be easier and an advantage for users?
Recovering back to the drive you are undeleting from.

Suggestion: When simply wanting to undelete a file on a good drive, Recuva just updates the MFT instead of re writing the whole recovered file.
Got to be worth a saving of time for large files, and also mucking around with a 2nd drive.
