I am trying to recover a video taken with then deleted from my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Android phone. The device is an SM-N900V and I am able to connect the drive to my Windows 8 computer and it appears in the device list as "SM-N900V" with no drive letter to it. There is no micro-sd card in the phone and therefore the video was stored in the phones memory and not on a removable device so I am limited as to my recovery options. Recuva seems to see the device as "\\.\Harddisk Volume4" but when I select it as the source device I get an error "Failed to scan the following drives: \\.\HarddiskVolume4: Unable to determine file system type"
Screenshots are attached.
Please help. And if Recuva is not the correct recovery method please suggest others if possible.
