You do not need to subscribe to the services to run the Pro version--unless they have changed things since I purchased in April 2013.

I agree that it needs some work, but I'm willing to give them a chance to fix it. I've been a user for many years, and a paid user for the last two. My point is, the software still works as well as it always has, and the interface did need a refresh. Maybe it was released before it was really ready, but I'm confident they know it looks bad and will work to improve it soon. Hang in there everyone, I think these people have earned our patience.
5.0 UI is a step backwards

I'm sure they are well aware of all this and I'm betting that they'll get it fixed. I've been using CCleaner for many years and I've been using the Pro version for the last couple. They have earned my trust. I do like the direction they've taken with the new UI, but it really needs to be refined. I am glad I don't have to look at it that long, though.
