Hi,
Defraggler won't defrag past 26% drive fragmentation, it's a simple HDD storage drive, it's not being read or written upon or anything while Defraggler is running, I have stopped VSS and I have unticked "Use custom fragmentation settings" since I don't have hibernation nor restore files/services turned on.
Please see picture, it starts at 75% and goes to 100% and leaves disk fragmented at 26%.
PS: If i tick "Use custom fragmentation settings" it says that disk is 0% fragmented, but the image is the same with red defragmented blocks?
What is going on??
Solved it!
Apparently when I stopped VSS (or Defraggler did even though I manually disable that service) there was a huge file of 100gb left in System Volume Information folder, and I wasn't the owner of those files so neither I nor Defraggler could delete/move them. Turning on VSS and manually deleteing all restore points cleaned it up. I should have clicked on the red blocks in Defraggler earlier to see what files were unmoveable

Glad that is sorted.
Best that you don't use the reg cleaner then. What file associations are broken? Read this page.

Also did you not make a backup of the entries when offered the chance to so so by ccleaner?
Nope, I got used that everything goes smooth, and than after 1 week to 1 month, blam, there go the important reg settings. Will start using backups as a routine when cleaning. I do hope Piriforma staff will take this thread into consideration, I've see other posts about associations getting wiped, so I think this is a rather important optimization.

Click the start orb and where it says search, type netplwiz.exe, press Enter, and untick the check box "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer".

Thanks. Though I have no idea why'd CCleaner do this. I believe it did happen after a reg clean that also messed up associations and compatibility settings.

Another thing:
CClneaner may be responsible, but Windows 7 now stops on Welcome Screen and I have to choose my account, even though I only have one. Before, I would boot directly into Windows (Welcome Screen goes directly to Desktop, no need to choose the user).

I've two bugs to report:
1.) For some reason, CCleaner deletes/removes settings in Compatibility Tab for every application (it removes "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings", in picture it's how it's supposed to be):
2.) Up to this date, CCleaner can still erase used File Associations. I know that I can deselect in Registry -> Unused File Association, but that makes this option pointless, and I can't clean up unused associations ever. Most of the times, it works perfectly, but once it simply chooses to delete used associations for no reason (this is how it should be, but it removes defaults and you can see them missing in this window):

PS: What's the difference between Optimize and Quick Optimize?
