On my Windows 7 box, the current and back-up versions of Chrome are located here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\
It would be nice if CCleaner would delete the older version.

I think I am having the same issue. In the start up, I enable NVidia, but CC will disable it when the computer reboots, it is annoying because I have to reboot to get NVidia working, but CC keeps disabling it at start up. I have to uninstall CC to get Nvidia Experience to work, since CC is lighter than NVidia (1 min install vs 10 min reinstall), this is the preferred course of action.
