  1. I had a similar (?) problem some time ago.

    http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=18686

Finally found that these cookies were Chrome cookies left after I uninstalled Chrome. These cookies only appeared with CCleaner version 2.12 and later.

These Chrome cookies were in documents and settings\propri?taire\local settings\application data\google\chrome (something like that, don't remember exactly).

Since I've deleted any reference to Chrome no more problem.

  2. Thanks for the links. But I didn't ask my question well. What I wanted to know is where these cookies presently are on my HD. I can't find them to delete them. Cookies folders are empty, nothing in the registry... But CCleaner lists them so they must be somewhere. If somebody has an idea...

In options cookies I have a list of cookies to delete. But don't have any idea where these cookies come from since I have deleted my cookies. On the right there are the Firefox and IE cookies folders.

Have uninstalled and reinstalled CCleaner but it's still the same.

    ???

  4. Hi all,

Can you please post more information about the issue. Such as OS and browser the cookies are not going from.

Also if you can add a step-by-step technique to replicate it would really help.

    :)

    Hi

    OS : Win XP SR2

    Browser : Maxthon 1.6.3 (IE 7.0.5730.11IC)

Kaspersky AV - AVG Antispyware 7.5 - PC Tools Firewall +

Until version .507 CCleaner deleted all non protected cookies. When I ran the last update .527 no cookie was deleted (as usually : analyze, then run cleaner). With version .507 reinstalled all not protected cookies are deleted.

    Hope this helps.

    Henry
