[v2.20.989 - Painfully Slow]

Just a quick note, we're almost there with an update for Defraggler. I'll post again as soon as I am sure of the release date.

Thanks Steven! Will downgrade today and wait for upgrade in future days,

[defrag has been running literally 2 weeks...the end is nigh...O_O]

v2.20.989 has this issue. Many people reverted to older version and it works fine. I'm just curious how Piriform tech guys didn't see this in their update, I mean they have tested it and did not see that it slowed down

Just came to say I'm having same issue... I thought my HDD broke down but it seems that Defraggler updated REALLY slowed it down. Usally took around 1-2h to defrag my HDD now after 5H it is at 3%... Defragging images takes like 1minute for .png files.... really really slow

[Defraggler bug ( creates more fragment files)]

Hello, when I'm using defraggler on my laptop it creates more fragment files on it.

Example when I start defraggler and analyze HDD (toshiba 500 GB @ 5200 RPm), it has about 5 GB defragmented. But after defragmentation my HDD got 9 GB fragments.

I repeated this over and over and it is increasing my fragments and slowing down laptop.

I'm using same software on my PC and its working fine, but on this laptop ( recently bought ) it is bugging out.

 

How to solve this issue?
