Why is Ccleaner only going to 98% and not 100%? in CCleaner Bug Reporting Posted August 31, 2012 Good day to you all... Windows XP. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Ccleaner. I have tried putting it on Normal File Deletion, as opposed to Secure File Deletion. I have all the Applications options checked on. I found a hint to the solution when I started toggling the Windows options... In order to get it to work all the way to 100%, I had to uncheck the following Windows options... IE: Last Download Location Autocomplete Form History Saved Passwords Windows Explorer: Search Autocomplete Other Explorer MRUs Network Passwords System: DNS Cache Font Cache Start Menu Shortcuts Desktop Shortcuts Advanced: All options must remain unchecked for Ccleaner to run the full 100% So, what's the deal? This is only happening on one of my XP computers. The others seem fine.
