Hate to drag this back to Evercookies, but what is the state of play regrading CC removing them?
I installed the Firefox add-in suggested to disable "Referrer" and have not yet found a website the objects to it being set at zero for "no"
Can I assume from that there are no Evercookies being set?
If there are some being set, can I count on CC removing them?
Thanks to all who are helping with this vexing issue.

Thanks for that.
OK, problem? Some of the files are defned specifically and others are entire Folders to be cleared.
Do I just use this part of winapp2.ini and rename it CCleaner.ini ??
CustomLocation1=OPERA|D:\OperaPortable\profile|cookies4.dat
CustomLocation2=OPERA|D:\OperaPortable\profile|global_history.dat
CustomLocation3=OPERA|D:\OperaPortable\profile|vlink4.dat
CustomLocation4=OPERA|D:\OperaPortable\profile\cache
CustomLocation5=OPERA|D:\OperaPortable\profile\opcache
The first three are individual files within the "Profile" Folder as I do not want the entire Profile Folder to be cleared. The last two are folders that do need to be fully cleared.
Also, in those first three, do I change the second Pipe ("|") to a backslash ("\")?
CustomLocation1=OPERA|D:\OperaPortable\profile\cookies4.dat
CustomLocation2=OPERA|D:\OperaPortable\profile\global_history.dat
CustomLocation3=OPERA|D:\OperaPortable\profile\vlink4.dat
Fiinally, your example shows an equals ("=") and the KB examples show spaces. Which is it?

OK, I got a little brave and decided to create a modified version of winapp2.ini I found here and bingo, it is all good.
Here's what I did so others may use it. Some of the file names are changed from the winapp2.ini version I found here but it has cleared History, Cookies and all Cache so I am a happy camper.
[Opera 11 (Portable)]
LangSecRef=3022
DetectFile=D:\OperaPortable\Opera.exe
Default=True
FileKey1=D:\OperaPortable\profile|cookies4.dat
FileKey2=D:\OperaPortable\profile|global_history.dat
FileKey3=D:\OperaPortable\profile|vlink4.dat
FileKey4=D:\OperaPortable\profile\cache|*.*
FileKey5=D:\OperaPortable\profile\opcache|*.*

Hi All,
I have just started using Opera 11 installed in it's Portable mode. It is in it's own Folder on Drive D: a Partition of the main hard disk D:\OperaPortable so not really Portable. I installed it there as it keeps all of the files in a single Folder structure and makes for easy email backups as I am also using the Mail extension.
How can I point CCLeaner to clear out the appropriate browser files when I run CC?
I have done some searching and reading here and there is no winapp.ini file in the CC installation folder. I have been reading about winapp2.ini but not sure how to define the portable Opera installation.
Can someone please assist me with this?
Thanks
Harry

Nergal, if that first "meddling" comment was directed at me, then I find it strange you would say that. Yesterday, I did indeed read this thread and the others linked and I came back to re-read them again this morning.
I have yet to find any definitive statement that CC will actually handle all evercookies. Maybe I am stupid and too dense to see it, but it certainly alludes me. I am an Engineer and I deal with facts and realities, not suppositions, "should" and/or "maybe."
It is for these reasons I was requesting a qualified statement of fact.
