A long, long time ago I have taken the liberty to discuss a problem I had (I have) regarding App Management\ARP Cache. I got no answer.

 

In the older Version of CCleaner it was possible to clean the above mentionned dates in the registry. With the newer versions, it is not possible to delete these dates in the registry via the CCleaner. What's the reason.

 

May I complete this question with the remark, that with the "RegSeeker" it is possible to clean the above mentionned dates.

I have troubles in understanding the following matter:

 

In the version cssetup222 I was able to clean

 

"\APP Management\ARPCache\ ..

 

In the newer versions, f.e. cssetup229 it is not possible to clean the above mentioned registries. If I use the RegSeeker, it will advised that the "\APP Management\ARPCache\ .. could be cleaned (green advised).

 

Who can me declare the reason for the new situation with the CCleaner?

Sorry. I have made the following:

 

Uninstalled the Version 2.25.1025 and reinstalled the Version 2.22.968. Result: I am able to clean in the registry "HKEY_Load-Machine Software\...\,,,\,,,\App Management\ARPCache ...

 

It appears to me that something has changed in the newest version or a mistake is existing in the program.

 

Anythere. Wait and see is probabely the right way. Or do you have a better idea?

For good orders' sake I take the liberty to say again that the cleaning was possible (= has also showed by CCleaner) with the older versions of CCleaner. Therefore I am a bit astonished that it is not possible to make it with the newest Version.

 

Anythere - let's wait and see. Perhaps it will possible with a next version ...

I remember that by the systems before, the following registrys have been cleaned (an example):

 

HKEY_Load-Machine Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\ App Management\ARPCache ..... \

 

With the new system this is not possible and I am a bit astonished. I could see it by the software RegSeeker.

 

What do I wrong? If I am wrong, please show me the correct path to clean the said registrys. Thank you!

In effect, I am a Newcomer / an OldMen; my mother tongue is germen.

 

Now, I have a question after reading the FAQ regarding the theme "how do I restore registry backup". I have red (in short words): Right-Click on .reg / Merge. The dates are "saved into the "my document folder" (not found by me).

 

I beg your pardon. But I am not able to find the dates. I have taken the liberty to go to "search" (in German: Suchen) and marked "*reg." I got approximately 183 dates. Are these dates the backup in question? Could I press the bottom "Merge" (in German: Zusammenf?hren") and the Backup is o.k. Or in other words: What ist the correct path to restore the dates?

 

What should I do if I have the impression to clean the dates definitely?

 

I am so sorry to have this problem not resolved. Any way, many thanks for your kind assistance.
