  1. Worked first time! Easy. And then AVG went and auto-updated the 2012 program - but its was ok as the fix worked after the update.

I was not familiar using "winapp2.ini" (or any *.ini file) so that was a first for me.

Thanks you guys (Andavari,Nergal,TexShane and Coffee4Joe) for prompt replies and sorting out for me.

AVG bit ahead issuing 2012 while we still in 2011 but it's a great tool and so is CC. Have NEVER had any problem using CC - so this event was a surprise for me.

Also appreciated the (reminder) Advice posted at the end of Nergal post. That was thoughtfull.

  2. Thanks for reply Nergal - sorry for delay in this reply.

My previous version AVG was 11.x and this was listed under CC Utilities and CCleaned but since AVG auto update to AVG 2012. 0.1809 (latest version) I noticed these files were no longer listed in Utilities and therefore not being cleaned.

First thought maybe something not installed correctly - hence - uninstall/reinstall but still not listed - suspected bug so posted here.

Wondering why it was previously listed and now not? Also, updated to latest (current) version of CC so unistalled that and reinstalled but still no AVG listing.

Agree, all should be responsible for cleaning up stuff but beauty of CC is one broom sweeps all (or most of all) but a big pile of junk left is a problem.

Look forward to ideas on how to fix/resolve issue.

    Regards.
