I have just checked - only Visual Studio 6 is currently cleaned. There is a user-suggested entry for Visual Studio 2003 into winapp2.ini (see http://forum.ccleaner.com/index.php?showtopic=1110 and http://forum.ccleaner.com/index.php?showtopic=4609). So if you don't want anything cleaned in Visual Studio 2005, just leave it.
If you want CCleaner to touch VS2005, then you can submit your own entry to the second of the above topics.
I don't want to clean VS 2005, so I will leave it alone (thanks for clarifying that!). Will it be safe if I scan for issues as well?

Hello, and welcome to the CC Forum!
I have Visual Studio 6 installed, but I have it unchecked in CCleaner (tab Applications, section Applications). I don't know what it would clean; probably recent files and recent workspaces. But I want to keep all VS info, so I unchecked it from CCleaner.
well, for me, Visual Studio isn't listed in the Applications section. Is there anything else I can do?

Hi all,
I have Visual Studio 2005 currently installed on my computer. If I run CCleaner, will it delete any important files that VS needs? Before my old hard drive died, I ran it and then I wasn't able to debug my programs. I'm not sure if this was because of CCleaner, but I just want to make sure that it's safe.
Thanks!
