Yes all Piriform products are free for home and business users. Donations of course are welcome
There is however, should you wish it, a Premium Business Support.
Are you able to let us know what license this software is distributed under and if there is details of it anywhere?
I have had a nightmare trying to get an answer from the contact page on the site with the following responses:
Hi Matthew, thanks for your email. For Business Users we recommend Premium Support available from:
http://www.piriform.com/support
For Home Users we appreciate donations via:
http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download
Alternatively, you can download it for free at:

My Response:
Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
For audit purposes, can you tell me what license the software is released under (GPL, Mozilla, etc)
Thanks
Matt
Response back:
Hi, thanks for your email. If you have a question about our products you can almost certainly find the answer at http://docs.piriform.comRegards

We are stuck in the situation at the moment of not being able to demonstrate the software to the IT manager because of the very strict licensing rules we have to abide by, chances are (from using it at home, I know how good it is) that if it is taken up a donation will be given for the software.
Just REALLY need to know what license it is distributed under.

- Defraggler screensaver (to defrag during idle time)
I have not seen a Defraggler Screensaver option, but I thought that would be a great way to use idle time on a computer. Really useful screensaver!
Comments? Suggestions? Thanks!
I have actually registered on the forum to show support for this. I have been using defraggler for about 6 months now and swear by it. I tend to be very meticulous when building a new PC, but always end up forgetting to defrag once I am finished.
My usual install method - install windows, defrag 3 times, install each piece of software followed by a defrag. I have used this ever since working with terminal servers and noticing the vast improvement in speed over time.
A screensaver would just top this off nicely, meaning that I never need to 'remember' to defrag again.
It would be pretty easy to create a screensaver that is separate from defraggler, but the best feature would be a scheduled defrag option (so when the screensaver kicks in after the scheduled event, it runs a defrag, pauses when the screensaver gets turned off and then resumes until defrag is complete)
Company usage License..?

Cheers Augeus.
All looking good from that then
The license agreement on install seems to answer my questions. feel free to slap me for not looking there first!
